DEVSHAYANI EKADASHI falls on 11th day of Shukla Pksha in Hindi month of Ashadha. There are total 24 Ekadashi in a year. Sometimes it is 26 in numbers. In this year it falls on 4th July. Devshayani Ekadashi is the worship festival for Lord Vishnu. Devotee worships the Lord Vishnu and goddess Laksmi. According to Hindu mythology, it is believed that Lord Vishnu goes for a long sleep for four months in Ksheer Sagar on this day.
